East Zodiac is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to uplifting Asian composers and ensuring meaningful representation for musicians of Asian descent in the U.S. Through fundraising and grants, they commission a different Asian composer each year to correspond with the 12-year Chinese Zodiac Calendar. In addition to the commissioning project, the organization hosts an annual premiere concert and creates consortium projects where artists and musicians can support and participate in the project directly.
